Breathless inside
She's laughing now
No one hears though
The sound can't seem
To breach the surface

Who is she
Aging on the outside
Child-like inside
She's dreaming now
No one knows though
The dreams are trapped
Just under the surface

Who is she
Pretending on the outside
Conflicted inside
She's screaming now
No one is listening though
They don't see who she is
